Scaffolding came down last Friday so now I can see it all.
Started up the new wall last week in Cheriton High Street. Still at the drawing stage and working from the bottom to the top – up three levels of scaffolding. Stan the cat is on his plinth keeping watch.
Back to Sunflower House during September and October to wrap the mural round the corner and over the new entrance. There was a novel view from the Folkestone Triennial wind-lift installation across the road next to the viaduct. Finished by end of October Christmas Fayre at Sunflower House in December.
Opening of the Romney Marsh Churches mural in July 2014. Best viewed from the car park of the New Inn, New Romney, near the church. Emily and I collaborated on this one for the Imos Foundation.
Painting indoors and not up scaffolding, just a step ladder, for the Midnight Mural Starting with a dark blue background and white paint…. …then adding colour and detail.
